Transportation & Shuttle Services
Getting around the resort and surrounding area is simple with our transportation and shuttle services.
Purgatory offers FREE parking lot shuttles from 8:00am – 5:00pm daily during winter operations. Shuttles run from the Arrival Court to the Upper/Lower Columbine Parking Lots, Beginner Base Area Lifts, and the Overflow Gelande Lots.

For homeowner/renter shuttle service to Tacoma Village and Engineer Village please download the Purgatory App to request a shuttle with your provided access code.
Destinations & Pricing
Our transportation services operate from 7:00am – 9:00pm (subject to availability). Please allow sufficient time to get to your destination. 24-hour notice is required for all transportation reservations and the cost is reflective of a per booking charge (per group). When booking with Purgatory Transportation you agree to the possibility of ride share. A $25 charge will be applied for all cancellations.
One-way fares are based on the number of passengers in a customer’s party, as set forth below. Seniors 65+ and Military, with proper identification, will be discounted 10% off total reservation cost.
Children under 2 years of age ride free, with complimentary car seats.
*All Shuttles require a minimum of two (2) passenger rate per trip.

Cascade Village Shuttle
Cascade Village offers round-trip transportation between Cascade Village and Purgatory Resort for guests staying at Cascade Village during scheduled times.
An additional fare will be charged one-way, per person, for transportation outside of scheduled times when available.

Charter Transportation Service between Purgatory Resort and all points in the Counties of La Plata, Montezuma, Ouray, San Juan, and Archuleta
Our shuttles “point of origin” will be Durango because we store our shuttles in Durango. For this type of charter service the rate will be based on passengers, total mileage, and shuttles rented.
Services will be paid for at the time of booking. After booking there will be a $100.00 cancellation fee for all cancellations.
Chartered Transportation of Passengers between Mountain Transport and Locations Outside of Purgatory Resort:

Round trip fares for all Charter Services require a minimum charge and are based on the total number of passengers in a Charter as set forth below. In addition, mileage greater than 70 miles roundtrip will be charged an additional $1.00 per mile per vehicle.
** Each Charter may also be charged a $40 per hour per vehicle idling charge.
