A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came up to celebrate opening day with us! And a shout-out to the on-mountain teams who made it all happen.
Biking was a blast
After Friday’s rain, the bike trails were in prime condition and we had a glorious sunny Saturday with a few cool clouds cruising by every now and then. We were stoked to have every trail ready to go for opening day (except for the dual slalom). It was incredible to see how many mountain bikers showed up to show our trails some love.
PRO TIP: This July, come on up on Fridays from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and end the week on a high note with our Sunset Shred sessions. For just $25, enjoy 3 hours of downhill riding to get you into the weekend spirit.
Team Transportation served up the winning chili!
Our first-ever chili cook-off was a delicious addition to our opening-day festivities. 92.9 The Point brought in 3rd place after our Group Sales and Marketing Team in a very close (by ONE VOTE) 2nd place behind Team Transportation!
It was a close and friendly competition overall, and no one who participated left with an empty or unsatisfied stomach!
Thanks also, to State 38 for setting a chill summer-time tone with their live music on Purgy’s patio.
Full-day access to summer fun
We loved seeing all the smiling faces on Saturday, and we hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing summer day, taking in the activities at their own pace. Isn’t getting a relaxing reset what summer is all about?
With such a fun start to the season, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

- Last day of daily operations: Sunday, August 18th.
- Weekend-only operations: Fridays to Sundays, August 23th to October 6th.
- Holiday hours: Open on Labor Day, Monday, September 2nd.
