Unveiled in 2008, Purgatory Lodge is the anchor of the base Village. A luxury ski-in/ski-out property, Purgatory Lodge features upgraded skier amenities and a new and enhanced Purgy’s Restaurant and Bar. Your four-bedroom residence gives you unparalleled views of the ski area, Needles Mountain Range and Purgatory Village. Feel right at home with wireless internet access, flat screen TVs and private and private washer/dryers. Guests of Purgatory Lodge also enjoy access to premium amenities, including concierge services, ski valet, heated swimming pool with slide, Jacuzzi tub, private game room and lounge, day spa, fitness center and heated garage parking. Some units are pet-friendly.

Two-bedroom residence. Sleeps four, max of six. Two bedrooms one with a king, second with queen and bunk beds, two full bathrooms, full kitchen, and large dining room/living room area with a sleeper sofa. Complete with fireplace, private balcony, and washer/dryer. Use of the family game room, dining, and bar located in the Durango Mountain Club. Non-smoking.

  • “We stated four nights mid week. The check in was simple, the staff was friendly. The unit had everything we needed. Loved that there were two humidifiers in the unit. We ran them non-stop. Appliances in kitchen were nice and made in room meals easy. Two things to add to the room - baking pan as pizza is a skiing staple and we had trouble with cooking them. Also, need to invest in more forks as there were few and they were strangely small. Those are the only negatives and those were so minor. Overall, this is the best place to stay at Purg. Truly ski in, ski out. Loved the Mountain Club access. Outdoor locker for skis was a big plus. Also great to be close to Purgy's and made getting a beverage (or two) simple. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice and many people used them. Seriously, this place is the best on the mountain.”

  • “Nice space. Need instructions for using living room television/cable/streaming. Kitchen lacking a spatula. Silverware not clean. Dishwasher had standing water in bottom and smelled when we first opened it. Remote fireplace control doesn't work had to flip open grate under fireplace to turn on and off. Comfy beds and furniture.”
