VNTRbirds Backcountry Basics

Avalanche education is the best piece of gear you can have in the backcountry.

Whether you’re splitboarding, AT skiing, or snowmobiling, it’s essential to gain the knowledge needed to navigate the backcountry safely, efficiently, and confidently. VNTRbirds has tailored the Backcountry Basics course specifically for women who are new to the backcountry. This course is also ideal for those who feel they aren’t yet in “backcountry shape.” We’ll take the lift to the top and then tour in the backcountry, eliminating the elevation gain from the bottom. Single ride lift ticket is included with the course.

This is a women specific Backcountry Basics course. We welcome femme, transgender and gender non-conforming people who are comfortable in a femme-centered space.
