Winter 24-25 Opening Day Festivities
November 16 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The 2024/2025 ski season is scheduled to kick off at 9am on Saturday, November 16th! We are stoked to welcome you back to the mountain! Thanks to all of our hardworking team members and mother nature for getting the mountain ready for the season.
We are excited to have top to bottom skiing for opening day for the first time in years! Opening weekend we will have access to Westfork (Full run), Limbo, Sa’s Psyche (full run), El Diablo, Upper Demon, Lower Demon, and a section of Yellow Brick Road! Be aware that early season conditions will still exist, making these green runs more challenging than they are later in the season.
As always we will bring the stoke and have “Powder”ed Pancakes! Come enjoy some early season turns and celebrate our opening for daily winter operations.
This year we will have live music on the beach from 1pm-3pm by local Durango band HorseShirt! Sean and Chad’s cosmic southwest rockin’ country-blues music is sure to bring a lively vibe to the base area.
Dining Options
PowderHouse will be open with a limited menu on the Deck Grill.
They’ll be open 11-3:30, last call at the bar is 3pm.
Bear Bar will be open from 10:30-4pm for drinks on the beach.
Purgy’s will be open all day! The Village Market and Deli is still finishing up renovations, so Purgy’s will open for Breakfast Burritos and Coffee from 8-11.

Lunch: 11-4pm
Apres snacks: 4-5pm
Dinner: 5-9pm
If powdered pancakes weren’t enough for your sweet tooth, Waffle Cabin will be open from 10am-4pm!
